While UFC president Dana White proudly declared that none of this past
Saturday’s “UFC 104: Machida vs. Shogun” contestants were forced to
visit the hospital following the event, that doesn’t mean everyone came
out 100 percent healthy.
UFC 104’s “Knockout of the Night” and “Fight of the Night” winner Patrick
Barry was suspended by the California State Athletic Commission for up
to 180 days unless cleared by a physician for a possible fracture of
his left wrist.
MMAjunkie.com recently requested and receive the medical suspension
information, which also included lesser orders for six other fighters, including main-event winner Lyoto Machida.
